Evaluation of the Early Childhood Consultation Partnership

In connection with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families' (DCF) Request for Proposal entitled Early Childhood Behavioral Health Services: Mental Health Consultation to Childcare, DCF contracted with the A.J. Pappanikou Center to design and implement an evaluation.

The program carried out a variety of activities to help childcare staff promote mental health and emotional well-being and increase their ability to identify children in need of individualized mental health supports. The evaluation drew on quantitative and qualitative data to determine if the project met its numerical and substantive goals, to assess the impact of their activities, and make recommendations regarding the future of the project.
